| Minutes of Meeting | The First Club Assembly of RCPD was held on Thursday 27th of July 2023 . It was attended by 34 members. The chief guest was Rtn Mahesh Makhija, who was recognised and welcomed by the President. President Aruna Rathi, in her introductory remarks, put forth her ideas of the Rotary theme of the year 2023-24- ‘Create Hope in the Word’ and the way forward for the Rotary Year. She pointed out our club’s strengths and weaknesses and the need to introduce new young energetic members from the service industry in order to plan a succession process. Most of our members are above 60 years, and few come forward to take responsibility. There is a need for more energetic participation in club activities and services. A better attendance is desirable and for that there is a need to innovate and adapt. IPP Zimra Israel spoke about the District Awards which were displayed and awards were handed over to the respective members. The Board of Directors presented the year’s already completed projects, their planned activities, and projects for the future months. There was a healthy discussion amongst the members on the details presented by the Board. AG Rtn Mahesh put his observations and expressed his wish on taking up some projects related to Water Conservation, like restoration of borewells etc. President Aruna adjourned the meeting at 8.45 pm |
