| Minutes of Meeting | Rtn Nitin then took on the mantle of the host of the popular game show KBC and conducted the game giving it a twist! Announcing the rules and then beginning each round with a ‘fastest-finger first’ (or fastest hand raised question), the game had two Downtowners in the ‘hot seats’ with five questions for each of the three rounds. Rotarians and spouses alike competed and eagerly answered the questions. Those who made it to the hot seat were Rtn Niru Goel and Rtn Dipti Bhosle; R’ann Pritee Gupta and Rtn Pundalik Kudva; and Rtn Pallavi Sable and R’ann Meena Parmar. Correct answers from the audience earned the contestants a chocolate each and a lot of applause. This was an innovative and interactive way of getting everyone to refresh their knowledge about Rotary and learn a few new facts. Rtn Nitin was ably introduced by PP Rtn Kirti Mehta and a crisp and appropriate Vote of Thanks was delivered by PP Rtn Yezdi Batliwala. Members and guests alike enjoyed a delicious snack of ‘channa puris’. An enjoyable evening indeed! |
