An eye donation and organ donation awareness program was held at Vardhaman Pratishtan on Senapati Bapat Road by Rotary Club Poona Downtown on 22 Aug 17 at 8:00 pm. It turned out to be a very effective awareness program because there were over 150 participants from the Jain community in the audience, who most attentively listened to our powerful orator Rtn. Pradeep Munot's presentation. The Question-Answer session that followed was handled by both Pradeep and Rtn. Shabbir Jamnagarwala. Helping in the proceedings were Rtns. Jitu, Arun Oswal, Balkrishna Karwa, Ravi, and Ann Kanta Munot. What was appealing and important was that the Jain community wholeheartedly accepted the practice and helped to promote the needy cause! Many non-believers certainly need to take a lesson from their humaneness. Contented Downtowners left the venue in a state-of-aura!
