On 13 Sept Wednesday we conducted the last tree plantation drive at Rotary Green Hills, NIBM with 27 young Interactors of J N Petit High School. We planted 140 medicinal plants, which had been procured from the Forest nursery, Pune. RCPD was represented by Viral, Rajesh and Anil. As the monsoon is on the retreat, we have decided not carry out further plantations. We will now focus on maintenance of the existing Plants and have appointed a Gardner to take care of the Plants. We also plan to involve Interact Clubs and neighbouring societies in the maintenance phase. Thanks to Director Anil Chadda and Asis, this season, so far, we have planted 2700 saplings and Seed balls.
