Psychological Intervention of Children with type 1 diabetes...... On 9th December 2017, myself, PP Ravi and Phiroze had visited Jehangir Hospital where our club is supporting the treatment of 350 children suffering from juvenile diabetes. These children are given free medicine, free insulin injections and even transport allowance. We met Harshda Bhogne suffering from type 1 diabetes, a 15 year old girl who came from Jharkharwadi near Manchar, and whose father had left the family once he came to know the disease of Harshda. This family is coming every month to Jehangir hospital for treatment. Similarly we talked to another patient Siddhartha Anand sakhare, who came from Kalewadi, Dange chowk for treatment. Patients from all over Maharashtra are coming and taking this free medical treatment. We are supporting them since last two years under CSR project from Foseco India Limited. We have funded 2.70 Lacs in this Rotary year for this cause.
