On Monday, 5th Feb we had the first meeting of the two Interact clubs at the meeting hall of the Boys school. It was a joint meeting of the two clubs. For this meeting I had arranged a talk on 'Financial Literacy" by our own Rtn Rajendra Nahar for the benefit of the students from 9th and 10th classes. About 70 children attended the lecture. Rtn Rajendra told the students about use of cheques, credit & debit cards and made the point that they should not borrow or lend money because it is a sure way of breaking friendship and creating enmity. He briefly talked about currencies of the world and described our own currency, what is written on the notes and what that means etc. The meeting was jointly conducted by the office-bearer students of the two Interact clubs. It was attended by Mrs Bhosale, Principal, Girls School, Mrs Bhosarekar and Mr Dahiphale, teachers in-charge of the clubs with a few other teachers from both the schools. The RCPD was represented by Rtn PP Anil Latey.
