Matoshri English Medium School, Yerawada 4. Late Anant Rao Pawar Memorial English Medium School, Bopodi RCPD has always believed in empowering students with the latest teaching aids and introducing them to the fascinating world of science. Carrying out practical experiments in science labs at an early age in schools can generate the interest among students towards science curriculum and will attract them towards taking up medical and engineering courses in college. This is effectively done by installing science labs with the latest apparatus as per the school curriculum for physics, chemistry and biology in rural schools which do not have such facilities at present. While planning we have ensured: • Minimum use of wood in the lab. • All instruments and apparatus should be enough for a batch of 20 students at a time. • Acid proof tiles on working table surface, floor and walls. • Easy to use Fire Extinguisher for Emergency. • Fully loaded First Aid Box for students. • Two Air Exhaust Fans in the lab. • A two year Maintenance Contract of equipment with the supplier.
