ROTARY CLUB OF POONA DOWNTOWN Report of Public Image for 2018-19 PI committee of our club, from the very beginning was very focused on creating a good image of Rotary in general and our club RCPD in particular. This committee tried our best to get maximum coverage in media for all the project we did. Our first major project was fund raising program “Sathi Hath Badhana” on 21st July’18. This musical program by DOCS group was well covered in local news paper. Three projects of RCPD got significant coverage during the year, viz. Gift of Mobility (LN-4 Prosthetic Hand), Fund Raiser for Polio and Gift of Vision (Eye Check-up Camps). The LN-4 Project is our flagship project which we are making a PAN India project. Therefore we the help of our local partners, we ensured that we got maximum coverage throughout the length and breadth of the country Besides print media, the coverage was also covered by many TV chaneels and Rotary News and social media. She had arranged an exhibition of the Personal Collection of Rare Vintage Original Hindi Movie Posters by her Spouse Raymond Israel . PP Anil Goyal from our club donated 10000 dollars and many Rotarians including Zimra generously donated and the amount exceeded 15000 dollars Great job Zimra Proud of you!
