August 25th, 2019 : An Awareness Drive was held in Central Mall, Ganeshkhind Road, Pune on Sunday 25th Aug, 2019. Downtown Chairperson eye and organ donation committee Rtn Jitu Mehta was joined by Rtn Pradeep Munot, Rtn Dr.Ravikumar, Ann Dr. Ameeta Ravi Kumar, Annette Kamini Ravikumar, Rtn Shashank Jauhri, Rtn Shailendra Abhyankar, Rtn Anil Patil, Ann Meena Patil. A counter was set up at the main entrance of the Mall where visual displays and literature on the subject were kept. The counter had about 250 visitors from 3 pm to 7 pm with Puneites wanting to know more about eye and organ donation.
