The Rotary Year began with the inauguration of a toilet block for the school on 1st of July. IPP Ravi Kumar cut the ribbon to formally declare the toilet blocks open. The school assembly started with National Anthem. This was followed by felicitations of RCPD team members by the school authorities. The school Principal and Nagar Sevak profusely thanked the RCPD initiative. President Biman, Oni and Pinky gave speeches to the students and advised them of the need to maintain toilet facilities in good working condition. President Biman assured the school of continuous help as and when required. The RCPD team members also stressed the need for good personal hygiene. Thereafter, Jalebis were distributed to all the students and staff. The programme concluded with recital of “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” by Oni along with all the students despite light showers. The children were very happy to meet all the Rotarians.
