Creating Awareness for Eye & Organ Donation – Our Effort Continues As a part of spreading awareness amongst general public, we in partnership with Rotary Club of Udipi Manipal, conducted a virtual joint meeting with ours and 9 other clubs of their zone on October 27, 2020. This was the second partnership venture with this club, the first being LN 4 camp held in January this year. Since many members from both sides had met before, the atmosphere was informal. RCUM was well represented by their members including Rajavarma Ariga, Dr. Girija and others. Dr. Girija, also introduced the Guest Speaker Rtn. Pradeep Munot. Their AG Anand Udyavar also spoke for a few minutes. RCPD was represented by all those who had been to Manipal as well as President and members of the board. After a brief introduction, Rtn Pradeep Munot started the presentation. The presentation was very impressive as always – and was well received by the people present. At the end Rtn. Pradeep Munot answered few questions. At the end Rtn. Shabbir Jamnagarwala read out a pledge for Eye and Organ donation which was repeated by those present.
