As a part of the WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROJECT , inauguration of the Driving lesson for the under-privileged girls was held on 17 July, 2015 at Koregaon Park. First batch of 5 girls got their learners' licences and the second batch of 5 girls were enrolled for the program. Mrs. Geeta from Wings travels came to explain to the girls about their project WINGS SAKHI, where they recruit female drivers and help them to establish in the career. She is happy to join hands in RCPD's project of Driving Lessons for girls. Members present were Rtns. Biman, Anil Latey, Pinky, Supriya and Anns Meena and Manju. After the completion of the lesson and after receiving licence, these girls are going to earn minimum Rs.12000 per month. No. of beneficiaries 10 Chief guest Mrs. Geeta , Coordinator, Wings Sakhi.
