Report on distribution of Uniforms to students: RCPD has adopted Sanjana Bai Bhandari School which provides education to under privileged children in Tadiwala area of Pune. Earlier RCPD has provided toilet blocks for children of school. This time the club decided to distribute uniform & shoes to 50 girl students through donation by club members. Accordingly, a team of Rotarians & Anns landed in Sanjana Bai School at Tadiwala Road at 10.30 am on 7th August 2015. There was a small function held by the school authorities. The principal and the senior staff felicitated President Dr. Supriya Banerjea, Rotarians & Anns. The girls were excited to get the new uniform which were handed over by the Rotarians individually. Rtn. Vikram Nabbar and Prixusp assured the students that Rotary Club of Pune Downtown will always extend a helping hand to them. A senior teacher concluded the programme with vote of thanks. Rtn. Vikram Nabar, Rtn. Prixusp Contractor, Rtn. Pinky Mehmi, Anns Manju Mukherjee, Kripa Contractor, Shikha and Neelam Rathod were present at the event.
