The second Eye check up camp of this rotary year was held at EPIPHANY SCHOOL at Guruwar peth, Pune on 17.08.2015. The principal Mrs Kadam was very enthusiastic about the camp for her students and she made all the arrangements in the short time given to her. Camp started by 9.30 am and we finished the screening of 579 students of her school from std.I to Std X by 1.00pm. Team of COMMUNITY EYE CARE FOUNDATION was led by Dr. Minaz along with Dr. Elizabeth,Dr. Sampatraj, Dr.Abu Osama, Dr.Ismita, Ashok and Pranjal. RCPD was represented by President Supriya, Dinaz, Pinki, Pritee and myself.As usual entire color blindness test was dome by RCPD members.In the afternoon we checked the students of St. Hildas primary and high school from std. II to Std VIII. Here we have screened 410 students. By the end of the day we have checked a total of record 989 students out of which 42 students will be given spectacles free of cost and 20 students were asked to contact Dr. Gogte for advance check up. All the students were given Vitamin A capsules and deworming tablets by us. Another fruitful day for the Team GOV.
