Since these Interactors are from different schools and colleges, they did not have the advantage of a fixed venue for their meetings or installation; which is why their installation was arranged just before the Club’s weekly meeting at Poona Club. AG Phiroze Masters presided over the meeting. Interact Chair PP Supriya Banerjea set the tone for the ceremony by giving the welcome address. Given that this was the first time since their formation that the children were meeting members of the sponsoring club, the occasion was even more special. The Board was installed by AG Phiroze who administered the oath to all the students as well. Club Secretary Ms. Anvi Kashelikar, a Charter Member herself, addressed the gathering. Youth Director Shailendra Abhyankar gave the Interactors an inspiring and motivational speech, lauding them for projects they have done in the past and encouraging them to continue with bigger and better projects in the future.
