CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM FOR STD. X STUDENTS OF ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL We have successfully completed a three day programme for Class 10 students of St. John's School. The session was conceived & implemented by Vocational Guidance and Selection Office at a very reasonable cost for a batch of 44 students who stand today on the threshold of a choice of career which is so difficult at this impressionable age.The students of this school specially required this guidance as they are from a very weak section of society, where home guidance is extremely negligible. On 1st Oct we had a presentation of around two hours on " good learning habits". On 15th Oct the students were administered a battery of Aptitude Tests which took almost five hours. The papers were corrected over night by our dedicated team of Trainers. On 16th Oct we delivered the results . For the results there was a mixed participation of students with their parents. I must compliment the Principal of the school Ms Thorat without whose cooperation & help this programme would not have been possible. Below is a transalation of the letter of appreciation sent by Ms Thorat to RCPD. Dear Sir, We are thanking you for given an opportunity to our pupils through the programme Career & Guidance.
